The Zion Narrows is an iconic location for landscape photographers. While most photograph the beautiful light that bounces around on the canyon walls, I found myself drawn to a small black pool stranded high on a sand bank. The pool was coated in a thin algae layer that was catching debris softly like a blanket. I found this beautiful leaf that was half submerged and cautiously angled my tripod so I didn’t damage the layer of algae and took the shot.

Prints come signed with date(bottom right) and print number(bottom left) along with a certificate of authenticity.
