On a rather normal day in Seattle, Washington I visited a popular tourist location called Snoqualmie Falls. This magnificent waterfall is part of the Snoqualmie River and drops 268. During the spring the waterfall can become a raging beast rendering a photograph from its base impossible to capture. Capturing the movement of the water from large waterfalls has always been an interest of mine and was instrumental in my development as a photographer. Many of my early landscapes included a water feature. This image was taken to depict the powerful nature of the greatest sculptor in the world... water.
